How our worksheets connect to India’s NEP 2020 and the Foundational Stage framework.

India’s National Education Policy 2020 treats ages 3 to 8 as one Foundational Stage, and NCERT’s National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (2022) asks for play-based, activity-based learning instead of rote memorising and early exam pressure. We design our pages around the same idea: short, colourful, hands-on activities a child can do with a parent, at their own pace.

Many preschools hold a short, informal chat with the child and parents rather than a test. Teachers are usually looking for a comfortable, curious child who can say their name, follow simple instructions and answer a friendly question.

  1. Practise little and oftenTen minutes a day is plenty. Stop when your child loses interest.
  2. Talk, don’t drillAsk “What colour is this?” or “Can you count the diyas?” and let the page start a conversation.
  3. Rehearse the basicsTheir name and age, family members, favourite things, colours, shapes and counting, all through play.

Is it too early for worksheets at age 2?

Our playgroup pages are about play, not pressure. Scribbling, pointing and matching build the skills children need later for writing and reading. Five to ten minutes together is plenty.

What do I need to print them?

Any home printer and A4 paper. Most pages work in black and white, and children love colouring them in.

Can I use them in my classroom?

Bundles are for personal, home use by default. Teachers can write to us about a classroom licence.

Can I get a refund?

Because these are digital downloads, we can’t refund once a file is downloaded. If there’s a problem with your file, write to us and we’ll fix it.
